Trans-Trading GmbH handles two vessel engines

Trans-Trading GmbH have handled two vessels engines, each one weighing 101,92 tons with dimensions of 8,24 x 3,00 x 3,40 meters. The discharge was carried out in a tandem stroke with the Port crane (LHM400) and an external mobile crane (LTM1350).

Due to COVID19 and the economic impact, RoRo carriers have problems finding enough cargo for their vessels. In Trans-Trading case, they had to accept 27 days of storage (under roof) from the delivery of the engines to the departure of the ship.

On June 15th, 2020, the two roll trailers including the engines were pulled on board the “Höegh Tracer”.

On June 16, 2020, the vessel left Bremerhaven and started the long voyage to Australia, with transit time approx. 53 days.

After all, everything went calm and smooth and was a success all along the line.
