FLS Offers Satisfying Shipping Solution for Client.
FLS Projects successfully delivered a dismantled crawler crane from a storage facility in the Cilegon area, Indonesia to Abu Dhabi, the UAE. The client’s initial plan was to ship the crane using a break bulk vessel on a charter basis but the FLS Singapore Team, in collaboration with the office in Indonesia, proposed a more suitable solution – shipping cargo on a container vessel. Due to the cargo’s sensitivity as it might have been exposed to atmospheric agents during sea voyage, the crane’s main body was safely stored underdeck while all the other parts were stuffed into containers. The cargo arrived at the destination in perfect condition as assigned to FLS Projects.
