EGL & KADMAR Ongoing Heavy Transport in Egypt Mega Projects

Egyptian Global Logistics subsidiary of Kadmar Group have successfully discharged 5 Bosch boilers units, with a capacity of 81 tons each. The units were discharged at Alexandria port by using a mobile shore crane of 250 tons followed by transportation to the factory in Ain Sokhna covering a distance of 400km, using 8 axle lines to the site.

The cargo was sent on board a gearless vessel “MV Lady Debora” 5381 tons GRT, consisting of 5 Bosch boilers with a total weight of 405 tons, with each capacity being 81 tons, measuring 10.95 x 4.69 x 5.05m.

The cargo was loaded from Antwerp to be later discharged at Alexandria Port, Egypt under the Agency of Egyptian Global Logistics for the account of Messrs/Kuehne + Nagel Ltd.

The transportation was completed by using a mobile shore crane of 250 tons’ capacity, which soon after were loaded on Modular Trailers owned by Egyptian Global Logistics, which were transported afterward to Ain Sokhna over 400 km in distance.
