Catoni complete flat rack shipment in Japan

2 min read

Catoni recently completed flat rack shipment of transformer and accessories from Izmit bay terminal, Evyap, Turkey to Kobe, Japan.

The cargo consisted of 15 packages which weighed a total of 57 tons and shipped with 2×40’ flat racks and 3×40’ open tops.

Catoni were faced with many challenges during this shipment as it was not easy to find a proper carrier due to the time restraints of shipment. As a result, they came up with an optimum solution that was a combination of special equipment and their experience in the industry. This just goes to show that experience really does count.
