FLS Projects awarded container and cargo handling facility contract in Thailand

FLS Projects were awarded with a contract to set-up and manage a several thousand square meters large container and cargo handling facility in the Eastern Seaboard in the Rayong Province, Thailand.

The container and cargo handling facility will represent a crucial part to the construction of a green field production plant for an European automotive supplier. During the next one and a half years, FLS will be handling up to 60,000 freight tons of cargo. FLS’ scope will include the receiving, storing, un-stuffing, un-packing and moving of about 1,000 containers and several thousand tons of break bulk cargo, up to its foundation inside the newly built factory.

Today they are moving their site offices, equipment supply and storage containers. FLS will soon move 10+ staff members from their headquarters in Laem Chabang to the newly set-up site offices.
