EFS Logistics has completed the transportation of Yacht from King Abdullah Port to Jeddah Yacht Club covering approximately 100 km.

Key activities

– Transporting the shipment from King Abdullah Port to Jeddah Islamic Port.

– Loading and offloading the shipment

– Pilot escort from collection to delivery

Challenges

– The delivery location is located on the corniche side with residential roads difficult to maneuver. Access to be obtained with prior approval.

– The height of the shipment is 4.85 m and hence required special low bed equipment

Outcomes

– Their expertise in handling such heavy cargo ensured the shipment moved safely without any delays

– Their in-house experienced carpenters carefully crated the cargo which had uneven weight distribution.

The project was completed successfully within the stipulated time.
