Trans Pacific Projects Pty. Ltd. successfully delivers on Thompson Line, Singapore

Trans Pacific Projects Pty. Ltd’s delivered a replacement cutter head, front shield, middle shield and tail skin for a TBM that is in use in order to build the Thompson Line in Singapore.

They were responsible for the entire transport from Nansha / P.R. China up to DDP job site Singapore. The job site was close to the famous Orchard Road and hence it was one of those extreme late night deliveries, to ensure that traffic would not be affected.

They successfully completed this job by having the equipment booked as a part cargo charter with AAL on their MV AAL Bangkok and the transport to site of with our trucking partner Octolog / Hoy San in Singapore. The items were 80, 135, 80 and 26 tons and had a diameter of 6.8 meters with a maximum height of 4.35 m. All 4 items were transported on cometto hydraulic trailer and put onto elephant feet on site in a dedicated storage area until used for assembly by the site.
