Trans Pacific Projects Pty. Ltd. have just finished the delivery of the second shipment of CKD mining trucks from Newcastle port to an open cut mine in Singleton, NSW.
This is a contract for the delivery of an overall of 15 CKD mining trucks shipped in lots of 3 trucks at a time with each shipment consisting of 44 components. About 4,000 cbm of cargo are to be received under ship’s hook and transport to site in a sequence determined by the assembly crew at the mine site.
Once assembled, these will be the biggest mining trucks in use in Australia, with a GVM of 577 tons and a load capacity of 330 tons. The biggest / heaviest items are the dump tray with a weight of 54 tons and (L) 15.50 x (W) 9.50 x (H) 5.10 meter as well as the chassis with a weight of 70 tons and (L) 13.90 x (W) 4.85 x (H) 3.90 meter.
After more than nince months of accurate planning and pre-project work with authorities and all parties involved, they are proud to inform that the deliveries have been carried out without any issues and to the fullest satisfaction of the manufacturer as well as the consignee.
