Star Shipping Pakistan moves mechanical crane

< 1 min read

Star Shipping Pakistan has done a tough reverse movement of a mechanical beast crane, weighing at 650 tons from Port Qasim to the Thar Coal Project Site, recently. It was a challenging job due to a very short lead time and movement of the car body of the main crane, which weighed 72 tons. Multiple low beds and flatbeds along with a heavy duty mobile hydraulic crane were utilized to transport the crane.

Their scope of services included transportation from Port Qasim Site to the ETPL Block II Site, Tharparkar. There were a few challenges in transit which included obtaining the road permissions, wildlife and dry weather. Despite the challenges, the job was done successfully and the crane was delivered in safe and sound condition. Their operations team and all the other work force remained safe and secured.
