Description:
▪ Manage safe transportation of the fragile cargo, especially during picking up the panels from the factory and loading them onto the container vessel
▪ Involve the port operators in every step of the process: detailed planning, technical advice, and on-site guidance to guarantee the cargo’s safety as the port has quite not much experience in handling breakbulk cargo on a container vessel like this
▪ Load the cargo onto the vessel by a container crane as per the lifting plan designed by the factory
Story:
FLS Projects Thailand continued to excel at handling 20 tons of 17.8 x 2.65 x 0.8m fragile acrylic panels from Laem Chabang port, Thailand to Miami port, USA. The panels were delivered to a luxury resort in the Bahamas to form the pool façade, offering guests breathtaking views of the marina and ocean.
Identifying the gap in port operators’ experience with breakbulk cargo on a container vessel, we collaborated closely with them in planning, providing technical advice and on-site guidance throughout the loading process to minimize the risk of incidents.
This comprehensive approach ensured a safe and efficient shipment from the factory to the vessel, reaffirming our dedication to quality service and safety in all our operations.
