FLS Projects have completed the loading operations for 28 packages of ducts, casing, beams and columns for the EMAL Aluminium Smelter Projects on-site Powerplant. The volume of this shipment is about 2,400 CBM with unit lengths of 27 meters and weights of 40 tons. FLS Projects is delivering approximately 5,000 cbm of break bulk cargo to the Gulf Power project site in Prachinburi, Thailand

The cargo arrived in Laem Chabang at the end of February on different heavy lift vessels in three shipments from Europe and the US. The cargo was then transferred to the FLS yard in the Laem Chabang port area from where it is now being delivered to the project site in sequence to match the client’s erection and installation schedule. The deliveries include several complete control room units, turbines and generators with single cargo weights of more than 100 metric tons.

When time matters …

FLS Projects recently discharged a shipment of 96 packages with a volume of 750 cbm and a combined weight of 350 tons in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia. The cargo was shipped by FLS Indonesia from Jakarta and Batam. Within only 4 days after loading at the first load port, the cargo arrived safe and sound at its destination. The consignment included some urgently needed 50+ tons of heavy transformers and FLS’ team closely coordinated with the terminal operators to get priority berthing for the vessel at the load and discharge ports. Congratulations to Team FLS Indonesia for another timely delivery to a very satisfied customer.
