Mercomar transports catamaran from Argentina to the Dominican Republic

Mercomar successfully executed the Buquebus Project, which involved moving a catamaran called ‘’Flecha de Buenos Aires” from Bueno Aires, Argentina to Rio Haina, Dominican Republic. The vessel was 33m in length, with a beam that was 9.4m long, and depth of 3.47m. The total weight was 80 tons. The first movement involved a ferry from Dársena Norte to Dock Sud in Bueno Aires, then from Dock Sud to Site 13. After that, they commissioned the BBC UTAH and completed the loading of the catamaran aboard the BBC UTAH to its final destination in the Dominican Republic.
