Maxi Cargo is a Polish project and heavy transport operator with around 20 years of experience in oversized and abnormal road transport. Their strength starts with their own equipment: over 50 truck and trailer sets specially built for out-of-gauge cargo, including the dimensions and weights required for BESS containers and energy project equipment. They operate this fleet themselves rather than relying on spot market capacity, keeping schedules, handling, and costs fully under control.

BESS has become a key focus in recent years, and Maxi Cargo has quickly built a strong track record — more than 1,700 battery storage units handled across Europe through the entire logistics process, from port collection, terminal handling and storage, to final delivery at the project site. Terminals and storage form a core part of their service: at partner terminals across Europe they receive, transload, store as needed, and release cargo according to each site’s readiness.

They also run an established multimodal operation, taking charge of cargo from ocean and shortsea ports onward across Europe. Alongside batteries, they transport PV inverters and other renewable components, industrial machinery, and general out-of-gauge project cargo.

Maxi Cargo acts as a single point of contact for the whole chain. Combining their own fleet with an established network of terminal, rail, and forwarding partners, they cover Europe end-to-end, with particular depth in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, the Scandinavian countries, Poland, Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary, Austria, and the markets bordering them.

We welcome Maxi Cargo Logistics to the XLP team!
