L.C. Van Tiel Logistics Move to Asset-Based Location with Terminal Connected Area
L.C. Van Tiel Logistics are pleased to announce that they have relocated to new location in Alblasserdam. Being the former steel manufacturing company, Nedstaal, their new facility location allows easy access to terminal ‘De Noord’ which is in close proximity to Rotterdam and Antwerp Ports.
They are now able to load and unload barges and small coasters with their own equipment up to 35 tons. The quay is currently being restructured to a RORO quay and due to be in operation from 2020-2021.
L.C. Van Tiel Logistics’ new facilities include:
- Large fleet of trucks for road transportation of heavy equipment
- Warehouse for heavy project cargo with 2 overhead cranes: lifting capacity of 160 tons with welding and assembly/ construction facilities, door size 9 x 10 meters
Services include:
- Packaging and shrink wrapping
- Lashing and securing
- Stuffing and unloading of containers
- Air/ ocean/ road transport
- Customs clearance and supported documentation
- Chartering and method statements
