We are delighted to announce the re-election of Kabir Ahmed as the President of the Bangladesh Freight Forwarders Association (BAFFA) for the term 2023-2025. The election event, covered by both The Daily Star and The Financial Express News, solidifies Kabir Ahmed’s position as a key leader in the industry.
The electoral process took place on December 14 at two venues, the Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka, and the Hall-24 Convention Center in CRB Hill Area, Chattogram. During this event, directors were elected, as outlined in the official press release by the association. A subsequent meeting held on December 17, under the chairmanship of Jowher Rizvi, resulted in the unanimous decision to re-elect Kabir Ahmed to lead BAFFA.
The newly elected officials include Amiya Sankar Barman, elected as Senior Vice President, and Nurul Amin and Khairul Alam Suzan as Vice Presidents for Dhaka and Chattogram, respectively, by the association’s official statement.
