2 min read

FREJA Transport & Logistics successfully shipped transformers from Port of Yangzhou, China to Port of Civitavecchia, Italy. Details as following:

Commodity: 4 units of Transformer (Mainbody GW: 119 ton, 126 ton, 140 ton*2)

Total: 54 pcs

Volume: 1,141 CBM

Weight: 670,930 KG

There were some challenges that FREJA had to overcome to complete this load. First, since the commodity were transformers, they needed special case of loading to avoid damage. Second, loading directly from barge onto ocean vessel, they cooperated with barge arriving time based on ocean vessel berth time to save cost of detention. Finally, it was challenging to arrange a stevedore to barge to destuffing the lashing and crack vessel gear to load.
