FLS Projects is specialized in shipping all kinds of vessels and self-floating structures!

It all started with an inquiry to FLS Thailand about 10 years ago. In September 2007, the National Association of LCS (L) 1-130 (www.mightymidgets.org) in the United States hired FLS to ship one of the last surviving WWII “Mighty Midgets” landing craft support vessels from Sattahip, Thailand to California, USA.

Known as the LCS(L)(3)102, the 158.5 feet long and 250 tons heavy vessel was transferred by the US Navy to the Royal Thai Navy in 1966, where it then served as the NTMS Nakha until 2007. In 2007 the vessel was then transferred by the US Navy and Royal Thai Navy to the National Association of LCS (L) 1-130 for a museum.

Today this historical ship can be visited at the museum of Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo City, California where it is one of the main attractions.

Throughout the years, FLS Projects has completed a variety of other exciting vessel shipments. This “Mighty Midget”, however, will always be remembered as the beginning of a successful journey for FLS Projects.

If you have any military boats, yachts, ferries, catamarans, buoys, passenger jetties or other self-floating structures to transport, please get in touch with your nearest FLS Projects office!
