Cooperation Between Silent Transport AB & Karl Gross Internationale Spedition GmbH

< 1 min read

XLP members, Silent Transport AB and Karl Gross Internationale Spedition collaborated to move 3D Printer from Sweden to a university outside of Berlin, Germany. There was one crate which weighed 3,500 kg with dimensions of 455 x 205 x 265 cm. There were also five standard pallets and the total weight including the parts was 4,000 kg.

The first challenge of this move was to find the best solutions to move this very sensitive and large 3D-printer. Adding to the challenge, there was a careful planning as the printer itself is very valuable and have a long production time for their client in Sweden. The second challenge was to meet the client’s needs to have the printer delivered in the University through a very narrow door opening and into a clean room. In close co-operation with Karl Gross Internationale Spedition GmbH, amazing preparations and planning locally for the site delivery in Berlin was the foundation for success, planning is everything!
