Bruhat Logistics Executes Breakbulk Transportation of Heavy Construction Equipment from Far East to Middle East

3 min read

How Did Bruhat Logistics Manage the Transport of Heavy Machinery?

Bruhat Logistics, a proud member of the XLProjects (XLP) project network, recently executed a comprehensive transportation project involving the shipment of large construction equipment from the Far East to the Middle East. The equipment, including two excavators and various accessories, required specialized handling throughout the journey to ensure safe and timely delivery.

The cargo was received at the origin port, carefully loaded onto two low-bed trailers, and transported to a storage yard. At this stage, it underwent a meticulous cargo survey and origin clearance, setting the stage for seamless international transport.

What Challenges Were Involved in This Breakbulk Shipment?

This project involved unique logistics challenges due to the breakbulk nature of the cargo and the specific handling requirements for heavy machinery. Each piece of equipment was thoroughly inspected and securely loaded before the vessel’s cut-off time. To ensure proper handling, the excavators were loaded back onto a Mafi trailer and moved to the underhook position for vessel loading.

In addition to being lashed and secured, the machinery was expertly handled by Bruhat’s team, who conducted all necessary packing, loading, and securing operations. This attention to detail highlighted Bruhat Logistics’ expertise in project logistics and demonstrated their commitment to safety and efficiency.

What Services Does Bruhat Logistics Offer for Project Cargo?

Bruhat Logistics is well-regarded within the XLProjects project network for providing end-to-end solutions for heavy machinery transport. The company specializes in breakbulk and RORO freight services, as well as containers, permits, cranage, surveys, and on-site packing and loading solutions. For this project, their team’s coordination of these services ensured the cargo met all required regulations and departed punctually.

Shyam Sundar S, Market Research Analyst at Bruhat Logistics, commented, “Our team’s commitment to seamless operations ensured that all the necessary preparations were in place for safe and timely delivery of this shipment.”
