Bati Transport Steel Structures for Qatar 2022 World Cup Stadium.
Bati Group was awarded with the transportation of steel structures for one of the World Cup stadiums in Qatar. They recently transported 80 tons and 550 cbm of steel to Qatar from Turkey.
The stadium will be used to host the 22nd FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The structures of one particular stadium will be fully dismantled after the tournament and gifted to Africa afterwards for future use.
Bati Group delivered the construction from door to port Hamad in Qatar. While executing this project, their biggest challenge was caused by a lack of proper lifting points and to decentralized Center of Gravity. The photo shown is the biggest and heaviest piece of this project, weighing 40 tons at a length of 26 meters and had no lifting points. Therefore, they had to improvise and calculate accordingly. The project, which began on March 1st, was successfully delivered to Qatar on March 13th.
