Balena Projects Completes Oversized Cargo Movement from Canada to Brazil via U.S. Export Gateway

2 min read

Complex Cargo

Balena Projects has successfully completed another complex project cargo movement to Brazil involving an oversized self-propelled unit.

The cargo was professionally handled from loading at the shipper’s facility in Canada through to loading onboard the vessel at the US port of export. The scope included inland transportation from Canada to the USA, arrangement of customs bonds, and securing all required oversized permits.

In line with the customer’s requirements, a site survey was conducted prior to shipment. The surveyor inspected the cargo condition, storage environment, and loading operations during pickup to ensure full compliance and safe handling throughout the process.

The entire movement was carefully planned and executed by Balena Projects, with close coordination across inland transport, port operations, and vessel handling. Every stage was managed with precise attention to timing, documentation, and operational requirements, ensuring the cargo was delivered safely, efficiently, and under full control from origin to export loading.
