Back-to-Back International Air Charter | Philippines – India – Philippines

Quickflo Forwarders, Inc., a member of the XLP Project Network, successfully completed a specialized back-to-back international air charter project between the Philippines and India, providing an end-to-end logistics solution for an 11-ton project cargo.

The project involved moving the cargo from Cebu, Philippines to Bengaluru, India, and its return from Bengaluru to Cebu, covering an approximate total back-to-back distance of 10,100 kilometers (6,276 miles).

Project Highlights

  • Cargo: Highly Sensitive Equipment Cargo
  • Weight: 11 tons
  • Route: Cebu, Philippines – Bengaluru, India – Cebu, Philippines
  • Total Distance: Approximately 10,100 km / 6,276 miles
  • Transport: Dedicated International Air Charter
  • Project Management: Quickflo Forwarders, Inc.
  • India Partner: Orchid Shipping Pvt. Ltd.
  • Network: XLP Project Network

A Time-Sensitive, End-to-End Execution

A major challenge of this project was its highly time-sensitive execution, requiring thorough planning, close coordination, and continuous communication among all parties involved.

For the return movement from India to the Philippines, Quickflo was given only 10 days to execute the entire operation end-to-end. Within this limited timeframe, the team had to coordinate the dedicated air charter, aircraft and cargo arrangements, export and import documentation, packing & crating, customs clearance, ground handling, cargo mobilization, airport operations, and final delivery in Cebu.

The compressed timeline required each stage to be carefully synchronized. Air charter arrangements had to progress alongside documentation and customs preparations, while ground handling and mobilization activities were coordinated to ensure that the cargo could move immediately once the necessary clearances were secured.

Despite the demanding schedule, Quickflo and its India partner, Orchid Shipping Pvt. Ltd., maintained close coordination throughout the operation to keep the project on schedule.

End-to-End Project Management

Quickflo managed the project from initial planning through final delivery, coordinating the specialized operational requirements necessary for the successful movement of the cargo.

The scope included project planning, specialized cargo handling, ground transportation, airport coordination, dedicated air charter operations, customs formalities, loading and unloading supervision, cargo mobilization, and final delivery.

The project required coordination among multiple stakeholders across two countries, making timing, communication, documentation readiness, and operational planning critical to the success of the movement.

Through detailed preparation and close cooperation, the cargo was successfully transported from the Philippines to India and back to the Philippines, completing the back-to-back international project operation safely and efficiently.

Another Successful Project by Quickflo

The successful completion of this project demonstrates Quickflo’s capability to respond to complex and time-critical project logistics requirements, combining international air chartering, specialized cargo handling, customs coordination, and end-to-end mobilization under a demanding execution timeline.

It also highlights the value of the XLP Project Network, where strong international relationships and local expertise help support the successful execution of specialized project cargo across borders.
