Cargo Consolidators Agency Ltd. has recently undertaken a role in facilitating an urgent freight shipment for a time-sensitive plant turnaround. The objective of this shipment was to arrange coordination, clearance, and delivery of the shipment within a challenging time frame.
The Cargo Consolidators team took charge of various responsibilities, including coordinating the pick-up from the supplier, securing bookings with the nominated shipping line, coordinating with the port and customs for direct delivery, clearance with the brokers, and securing delivery to the site via the nominated haulers.
Due to the size of the freight special arrangements, including police escorts, transport details were communicated via newspaper advertisements through the Municipal Corporations to ensure a smooth journey.
According to the readiness of the freight, the shipment was divided into four (4) parts. The total piece comprised 13 Air Cooled Heat exchangers and 23 crates of accessories.
The transportation convoy included:
– 13 Heavy Duty Extendable Rear Steer Lowboy Trailers for the Air Cooled Heat Exchangers
– 6 Light Duty Tractor Truck, Flatbed for the accessories
