On June 1, 2023. Langowski Logistics – a Polish logistics company is officially opening a new transshipment yard dedicated to abnormal cargo (Project Cargo and Military Cargo). The yard is in the Bulgarian Quay area, in close proximity to the company’s bonded warehouse on Kontenerowa Street and the BCT and GCT container terminals.
The total area of this bonded yard is 8,700 sq m, which provides ample space for various types of cargo. Soon, a storage tent with an impressive area of 3,000 sq m will be erected, which will become a key element for storing goods, particularly those of unconventional dimensions and those sensitive to weather conditions.
The decision to open a cargo handling yard in Gdynia is driven by the growing demand for logistics services in the region. The Port of Gdynia plays a vital role in international trade, and the new Langowski Logistics cargo handling yard will be crucial for the efficient and smoother handling of cargo entering or leaving the port. The yard will also feature a container depot, optimizing the unloading and reloading process, with a 16-ton and 25-ton forklift (equipped with a spreader) for its efficient operation.
Langowski Logistics, with a network of four A+ class warehouses spanning a total area of 44,000 sqm in strategic locations in Poland, guarantees efficient handling of all types of cargo. The company offers modern warehouses with comprehensive logistics services, bonded warehouses, and temporary storage facilities, all supported by its own Customs Agency.
