< 1 min read

HBH Canada successfully shipped a Galvanizing Kettle via the great lakes from Brake, Germany to Winsted, Minnesota in the United States. Detail of cargo is as follows:

Cargo: 1 Galvanizing Kettle

Weight: 132,365 LB

Dimensions: 54’4” x 9’0” x 10’10”

Port of Loading: Brake, Germany

Port of Discharge: Milwaukee, WI – Final destination Winsted, MN, USA

Type of travel: Via ocean into the great lakes and then by truck to Winsted, MN

HBH Canada handles this type of cargo monthly. However, the challenge of the move was the weather issue as this was shipped during the winter and cargo was not allowed to stay outside at -15 degrees Celsius or lower for a longer period. Moreover, the weight of the cargo was an issue for some counties.
