FLS Projects Deliver Parts for a Pulp and Production Plant in Thailand!
FLS Projects Thailand just completed the first stage of delivering parts for a Pulp and Paper Production Plant north of Bangkok.
The cargo of over 8,000 cbm was shipped by a chartered vessel from Pori, Finland to Laem Chabang, Thailand.
At the discharge port a Super Concentrator vessel weighing 111 tons and other over-sized and heavy cargo that couldn’t be delivered by road was discharged directly from ocean vessel onto barges. From there they started their journey across the Gulf of Thailand and up the Chao Praya river through Bangkok to a jetty in Ayutthaya.
Next, FLS Projects arranged the transportation from the jetty to the project site by road including offloading the Super Concentrator vessel to the ground. FLS’s scope also included related permits by the Department of Highways, obstacle clearance and road escorts.
Thanks to detailed preparations including fast and precise communication between all parties involved, the first stage was cleared without any problems on sea, land and on the river!
